Jennifer with Anita

Over many years I have spent volunteering with seniors, I was made aware of the great need for people to have company from the "outside" just to listen and talk, one-on-one. At the same time, I noticed that many of my friends struggled to care for their loved ones while simultaneously working, raising a family, volunteering, and engaging in other activities. I realized that I could apply my love of people of all ages to fill what I see as a geniune need and founded Time Well Spent to provide the attention that many may be missing.

I can help you by consistently visiting your loved one and engaging with them in personalized activities that nursing staff or other volunteers cannot always provide. I will personalize visits and activities to suit the particular needs and abilities of your loved one. I will spend quality time with your loved one, whether I am holding their hand beside their bedside, playing a game, going for a walk, or joining them for a meal.

I am also available for the family when you can't be there at the end of life cycle. I have been trained through Hospice Wellington and will visit, give family updates and personally support your loved one during this time.

I have known Jennifer Fischer for over 20 years. Jennifer is a very kind, compassionate, trustworthy lady who desires the very best in lifestyles of individuals. I know that she would be a great person to help isolated individuals & seniors feel comfortable and worthwhile, bringing out the best in each different situation.
- Connie Spencer (former secretary of Parkview Church)

I have known Jennifer for over 28 years, during which time I was a Nurse Manager & Director of Patient and Resident Information Services at St. Joseph's Hospital. I was able to observe Jennifer first hand as she lovingly and faithfully visited a senior resident in St Joseph's Home for several years. I was very impressed with her dedication and genuine care for seniors. When I think of Jennifer I think of someone who is pleasant, trustworthy, dependable and hard working. There is no one I would rather have to care for me or my loved ones than Jennifer and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a friendly visitor for their loved ones.
